William Janowich

HURON - William Janowich 79, of Huron, passed away Wednesday Oct. 30, 2024, at home with his family by his side after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Bill was born on October 16, 1945 in Cleveland to William and Frances (Szychowski) Janowich. He graduated from St Ignatius High School in 1963.

Bill was a successful entrepreneur, with a strong work ethic. His drive kept him working up until his last days, as a realtor. He was most well known for his keen mind and accomplishments in consulting and Data Processing.

Bill enjoyed all facets of life and was an avid boater and fisherman. He also had a passion for outdoor sports such as skiing, golfing, hunting, scuba diving, and loved Ohio sports teams.  

Bill is survived by his wife, Diane (Davis), two children, Laura (Mike) Seikel, and Mark, and one grandchild, Ryan Reitz. Bill married Diane in 1988 and they enjoyed Lake Life in Huron, Ohio and living in South Florida. His love of boating took him on many voyages across the country and Canada.  He was a member of Huron Eagles, American Legion, and served in the US Marines. 

Bill leaves behind countless memories. He was well known for his zest for life and will be fondly remembered by many.
