Walter M. Smith

HURON - Walter M Smith 80, went to heaven on Feb 2, 2021, he passed away unexpectedly at home.  

Walter was a strong man of faith, a Marine Corp Veteran, and was retired from Ford Motor Company. Throughout his life he was a hardworking, loving and devoted family man. Walter liked to spend time with his wife, gardening, travelling, and teasing his many grandkids nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Diana Smith, his 4 Sons Walter, Marty (Sarah) Smith of Sandusky OH, Steve Smith of Tucson AZ,  Matthew (Dawn) Smith Amhurst OH, and Adam (Tammy) Smith of Republic OH, his 1 daughter Marian (Scott) Stillwell of Oregon OH, 12 Grandchildren Craig (Amanda) Stillwell, Tiffany Wise, Alissa Stillwell, Tyler Smith, Joshua Smith, Rochelle Sanchez, Antonia Monteleone, Jacob Smith, Lilly Smith, Sarah Liz Smith, Emily Smith, Michael Smith, 5 beautiful little Great Granddaughters, and one Great Grandchild on the way.

Visitation will be from 4-7pm Friday Feb 5, 2021 at Foster Funeral Home 410 Main St, Huron OH 44839. A funeral mass will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday Feb 6, 2021 at St Peter Catholic Church 430 Main St, Huron Ohio 44839.   The funeral will be live streamed on the St Peters Catholic Church Facebook page.
