HURON - Shirley Ann (Bair) Klaus 96, passed away peacefully February 18, 2021, while in the care of Admiral’s Point, Huron, OH.
Shirley was born December 23, 1924 and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, moving to Huron in 1963. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and loved playing golf, and gardening. Long-time resident of Beachwood Cove, she was an active past member of Plum Brook Country Club, Catawba Island Club, & Huron Yacht Club.
She is survived by her loving family, son William, Jr. (Lisa) Huron; daughter, Bobbie K. Sullivan (Dan) Dataw Island, SC; her niece, Ellen Finnerty (David), Palm Beach Gardens, FL; (6) grandchildren, Brandon Kenning (Lisa), Huron, Ryan Klaus (Jessica), Ripon, CA, Katie K. Roberts (Chris), Boulder, CO, Megan Klaus, Lakewood, CO, MacKenzie Sullivan Graham (Gavin), of Lothian, MD, Madison Brant, Murray City, OH; and (6) great-grandchildren, Gwyneth & Mallory Kenning, Layton & Anderson Roberts, Madeline Klaus, and Griffin Lawrence Graham.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years William R. Klaus, Sr. (1988); her brother, Walter Bair (1978); her sister, Roberta (Bair) Ladeda (2012); and her daughter, Suzanne Klaus Brant (2015).
