Robert Boos

Huron- Robert C. Boos, 82, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2022.

Robert was born on October 1, 1939 in Sandusky. He graduated from Huron High School in 1957 where he played basketball for the Tigers. He then joined the Army Reserves after high school and was honorably discharged in 1965. Robert was a farmer his whole life and served as a Huron Township Trustee for 37 years. He loved hunting in Pennsylvania, his trips to Florida, and playing cards with his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Linda A. Boos; daughters, Sharon (Joe) Enderle and Stacey (Eric) Boger; son, Jeffrey (Chris) Boos; sister, Linda (Ron) Wilson; brother-in-law, Abe Colon; grandchildren, Amanda Boos, Hannah Boos, Jordan Boos, Clinton Boos, Derek Enderle, Drew Enderle, Nellie Enderle, Curtis Boger, and Cassidy Welfle; as well as 3 great grandchildren, Hunter, Parker, and Lucy.

Robert is preceded in death by his mother and father, Charles (2008) and Naomi (1987) Sayler Boos; sister, Nancy Colon (2016); and son, Jerry Boos (2007).

Visitation will be held on Thursday January 20, 2022 at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron 44839, from 4 – 7 PM. A private family burial will take place at Scott Cemetery, 9110 Huron Avery Rd., Huron 44839, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Huron United Methodist Church, 338 Williams St., Huron 44839, or to the Huron Rescue Squad, 413 Main St., Huron 44839.
