Milan – Richard A. Kiser, age 88, passed away peacefully at Parkvue nursing home, Sandusky, Ohio. He was a veteran of the Army/National Guard.
His family and friends will remember him as a hard-working, loving family man who enjoyed repairing old cars, boating, fishing, and dining out at his favorite restaurants.
He is survived by his children, Khristina Kiser-Ortman, Kelly S. (Mark) Zakerski (Kiser), and Case R.T. Kiser; five grandchildren, Ashley (Trevor) McCauley, Michael (Holly) Zakerski, Richard Ortman, Lindsay Zakerski, and Caroline Ortman; three great-grandchildren, Rylie, Ophelia, and Murphy; his sister, Beverly K. (John) Veith; his sister-in-law, Carol Kiser; as well as nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carole S. Kiser (Thom), and his brother, Donald Kiser.
A private memorial service will be held. In lieu of cards/flowers, contributions can be made, in the name of Richard A. Kiser, to the following:
