Paul Broughton

Paul Broughton, 79, residing in Huron, passed away Saturday afternoon, July 27, 2024, at Stein Hospice Care Center following a lengthy illness.

Paul was born July 23, 1945, in Arjay, Kentucky, to Robert and Destil Marie (Miller) Broughton.

Paul worked for General Motors for 35 years, retiring in 2001. Paul loved and dedicated his life to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved boating on Lake Erie with his wife, Stephanie.

Paul is survived by his wife of 62 years, Stephanie; daughters, Fran (Steve) Brown and Paula (Brian) Cleaver; son, Len (Kelly) Broughton; grandchildren, Brittany Broughton, Audriana (Joshua) Wooster, Mitch (Kayla) Broughton, and Brock (Amanda) Broughton; several great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Broughton; brother-in-law, Chuck Ryan; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Nicolas Brown in 2006; sisters, Koffaline Ryan and Faye Brant; brothers-in-law, Vernon Brant and Harold Lewis; and sister-in-law, Judy Broughton.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 2nd at 11:00AM at Faith Church, located at 1320 E. Strub Road, Sandusky, Ohio 44870. Pastor Ken Hiser will officiate.
