Patricia Ann Waldron, the Lord’s faithful servant, entered into her heavenly rest on April 11. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Born on September 3, 1945, in Newark, New Jersey, Patricia was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Kelley. In 1965, she married her longtime sweetheart, Bucky Waldron. In 1973, they moved to Huron, where they raised their two children and devoted their lives to family.
A devout Catholic, Pat was a lifelong member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She found great joy in attending her children’s and grandchildren’s many events. She was also an active member of the Huron Eagles, where she enjoyed spending time with close friends—and winning on her “favorite” machine.
Pat was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Marie Kwiecien, and her brother, Joseph Kelley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 ½ years, Bucky Waldron; her children, Glenn (Annette) Waldron of Pittsburgh, and Laurie (Scott) Yant of Olmsted Falls; and her four beloved grandchildren, Christian, Abigail, Jared (Ericka, fiancé), and Connor.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at Foster’s Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Pat’s warmth and kindness will be remembered always by those who knew and loved her.
