Orpha May (Bush) Richardson

Orpha May (Bush) Richardson, 78, of Huron, passed away on September 4, 2023 after an extended illness.

She was born on August 7, 1945 in Sandusky to the late Ned and Lora (Morrison) Bush. Orpha graduated from Berlin Heights Local School and later worked many years in daycare. On February 5, 1971, she married Billy Richardson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Huron.

Orpha is survived by her son, Jason Richardson (Monique Franceschi) of Rocky River; daughter, Linda Binette of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Colin Richardson, Sara Riedel, Abigayle (Antonio) Valadez, and Kyle Richardson; great grandchildren, Kalie Cotecson, Lilli Riedel, and Gio and Amari Valadez; sister, Karen (Clyde) Teegarden of Bryan, OH; daughter in law, Jeanette Richardson of AZ; brother in law, Scott Majoy of Sandusky; sister in law, Pearl Baker of Berlin Heights; nephews, Eugene Stacy, Jeff Bush, Raymond Bush, and Jonathan Majoy; niece Lora (Jerry) Majoy-Jones and her son Jared; as well as many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Gregory Van Richardson; parents; grandchildren, Seth Binette and Elisa DeGroot; sisters, Jurdine Clem and Rosemary Majoy; and brothers, Millard, Raymond, Clayton, and William "Ed" Bush.

Friends and family may call on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 5 - 7 PM at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron 44839. On Friday, September 8, 2023, Pastor Molly Hayes of Crossroads Church, Norwalk, will officiate a service at 10:30 AM at Foster Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Meadow Green Memorial Park, 2602 Bogart Rd., Huron 44839.
