Nancy Lee (Myers) Claxton

SANDUSKY – Nancy Lee (Myers) Claxton, 69, of Sandusky, passed away Thursday, Feb 18, 2021 at Stein Hospice Center, Sandusky.

   She was born October 19, 1951 in Norwalk and graduated from Norwalk High School in 1969.  She worked at Delphi, Sandusky, for several years.  She enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her grandchildren, “Crafts with Granny”.  She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and watching eagles over the Marshes of Sandusky.  She loved the family gatherings and cooking meals for her family.

   She was a member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ, Sandusky.

   She is survived by her husband, Dennis Claxton, married to for almost 42 years; two daughters, Tara (Christopher) Newton of Sandusky, and Dana (Brandon) Schneider of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Cora and Lauren Newton and Eli Schneider; a sister, Lori (John) Reed of Norwalk; and three brothers, Mike (Julie) Myers of Port Clinton, Craig (Cheryl) Myers of Norwalk, and Jeff Myers of Wooster, OH.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard, and JoAnn (Balderson) Myers.

   Friends may call Monday, Feb. 22nd from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron, where funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb 23rd at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jerald Fenske officiating.

   Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
