Mildred A. (Daniels) Markus

Mildred A. (Daniels) Markus, 84, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2023.

She was born on February 9, 1939, in Midland, PA to the late Mildred and Paul Daniels. For many years, Millie worked at the front desk of Catawba Island Club. She was a volunteer at Serving Our Seniors, a Girl Scout Troup Leader, avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and belonged to various card clubs. Her favorite thing of all however, was watching her grandchildren and their sporting events.

Millie is survived by her daughters, Paula A. Pisano (Bill Geary) and Nika L. Markus (Jim Palermo); grandsons, Sean (Chelsea) Pisano and Cory (Nicole) Pisano; and a sister, Mary Lee Lang.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Nickolas C. Markus; sister, Bernice Gerra; and her parents.

Friends and family may call on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 4 - 6 PM at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron 44839. Burial will be on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 11 AM at Meadow Green Memorial Park, 2602 Bogart Rd., Huron.
