Michelle Moran

HURON - Michelle Moran, 58, of Huron, passed away July 9th, 2020, due to natural causes.  She was born in Paehl, Germany.  When she was 6 years old, Michelle was adopted by then army man, Stephen Balogh, and wife, Ingebord Balogh, from Grafton, Ohio and brought to the United States. They were in Germany on an assignment when they adopted Michelle from an orphanage. She became an American citizen in front of Lorain County Common Pleas Judge, Henry P. Webber.

Michelle is survived by her daughter, Chantelle Hutchinson, of Huron; her grandsons; Xander Hutchinson and Austin Hutchinson, of Huron; her fiancée, Tom Fantozzi, of Huron; her best friend Susan (Jimmy) Smith, of Grafton; as well as multiple children she had called her own over the years.  Michelle is preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Ingebord Balogh.

Michelle absolutely loved the ocean. She was such a water baby and free spirit. She lived life to the fullest and was one of a kind!  She loved spending time with family and friends.  She loved cooking, painting, and music.  Michelle was always trying to make a difference no matter what; she touched so many lives.  Her smile and laugh will never be forgotten.
