Michael T. Solberg, 68, of Huron, passed away on April 7, 2025, after a brief illness, surrounded by love and the enduring memories held by his family and friends.

Born on September 17, 1956, Mike was preceded in death by his father, Morten O. Solberg; mother, Violet Solberg; brothers, Morten E. Solberg Sr. and Tom Solberg Sr.; nephew, Matt Solberg; and brothers-in-law, Allen Leopold and Ken Anderson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Solberg; children, Seth (Emily) Solberg, Kirsta Cobb, Cole (Ali) Solberg, and son-in-law Darin Cobb; and his beloved grandchildren, Mason, Cora, Hayden, Gentry, Lincoln, Soren, Dean, and Leo. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Leopold; brother, Ed Solberg; and numerous nieces and nephews who brought great joy to his life.

Mike was the proud co-owner and operator of Huron Lagoons Marina and Holiday Harbor Marina, working alongside his nephew and trusted partner, Tom Solberg Jr. Through the marina, Mike built countless friendships that he deeply treasured.

A true lover of life, Mike found joy in boating, fishing, sunsets, and fruity drinks with tiny umbrellas. He was known for his larger-than-life personality, infectious giggle, intense stare, and a mischievous streak that led to unforgettable pranks and laughter.

Above all, Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He lived each day to its fullest and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. His final days were filled with immense gratitude for the beautiful life he lived.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on April 27, 2025, at Mesenburg's, 545 Cleveland Rd W, Huron, OH. Calling hours will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a sharing of stories and memories beginning at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stein Hospice Center, whose compassionate care was a true blessing to Mike and his family.
