Mary Perry

Mary L. Perry of Bellevue, Ohio, gained her angel wings on December 13, 2025.

Mary attended Huron High School and was employed over the years at Meijer and Brooks Cleaning Service. She was especially proud to be a heart transplant recipient, having been blessed with 31 years as of May 23, 2025-a milestone that reflected her strength, resilience, and gratitude for life. 

Mary found joy in many simple pleasures. She loved gambling, going to concerts and spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking for her family and friends. She also had a special love for caring for her plants and flowers, nurturing them with the same care she showed to those she loved. 

She is survived by her daughter, who is also a heart transplant recipient, Teresa (Bollinger) Brooks; Mary's partner,  Pete Kowpak; sister Linda (Rocky) Callihan; sister-in-law Shirley Bostater; grandchildren, Erika (Tony) Palmison, Aimee(Cody) Wiley, Autumn Bodi, Ashley Brooks, and Danielle Bodi; former husband, Denny Perry; great-grandchildren Aubree,and Emma Palmison, Forest, Atlas and Delilah Wiley; step daughters Angel and Becky Kowpak and Shelby Kubitz; step-grandchildren Arianah Adkins, Alycia ,Nicholas, Anaysya Kubitz; step great-grandchildren Antonio Jr. and Aliyah Adkins, Khaloni Kubitz.

She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Bostater, Sr and Ellenora (Bostater) Mingus; step father Charlie Mingus; her son Russel "Russ" Bollinger II; brother Henry Bostater, Jr.; sister, Rite Smith; her first husband Brian Bollinger; and numerous other beloved relatives.
