Mary Emma Garlock

Huron- Mary (Oney) Garlock, 88, of Huron, formerly of Chillicothe, OH, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021.

Mary was born October 26, 1932, to the late Estel and Ruth (Trace) Oney.

For over 46 years, Mary worked at Chesapeake Paper Company and the former Westvaco Company. She was a member of the former Calvary Temple Church in Sandusky, Ohio. Mary also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 69 years, Daniel Garlock II; three children, Daniel (Wylene) Garlock, Bruce (Karen) Garlock, and Elaine (Kevin) Slisher; grandchildren, Brent (Cherise) Slisher, Amber (James) Stephens, Amy Reedy, Dixie (Matt) Garlock; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Theodore, Carter, Colton, and Trayjen; sister, Vivian Valentine; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her four brothers, Hardin, Henry, Ernest, and Jay Oney; sister, Lavonne Edington; and great-grandson, Keegan Rardon.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
