Mary Beth (Reno) Ewart

HURON - Mary Ewart (Reno), 69, passed away Saturday, September 21st, 2024 at Stein Hospice surrounded by family.

Mary was born in 1955 in Bay Bridge, Ohio. She was the middle child to Robert Reno and Adeline "Lena" Reno (Temper). When Mary was two, her family moved to Huron, Ohio where she became a lifelong resident. 

Mary was kind, loving, sensitive, and patient, traits she put to good use in the years she worked as a teacher's assistant in the preschool program at Betty Rinderle School. She cultivated friendships that lasted a lifetime and was most happy spending hours at the beach with her friends.

Mary's kindness extended beyond work and friendship to her family. She devoted her love and time to caring for her parents, husband, children, and grandchild. She couldn't get enough of her grandson and was a doting grandmother.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Abby (Kevin) Lang; grandson, Elliot Lang; brother, Robert (Eileen) Reno; and sister, Natalie (Mike) Lieske.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Tom Ewart; son Michael Ewart; and her parents. 

Family and friends may call on Thursday, September 26th, from 10 AM - 12 PM. At Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron.
