Mark Kevin Miller, 78, passed away on July 5, 2025, in Huron, Ohio. Born in Port Clinton to Kermit and Eleanor Miller, Mark graduated from Huron High School in 1965 and then enlisted in the Army Reserves.
Upon returning from his service, he began working for the City of Huron in the Water and Streets Department and also served as a volunteer fireman. He later worked for Firelands College/BGSU, where he dedicated many years of service before retiring.
Mark is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda (Cherry); his daughters, Kelly (Brian) of Las Vegas and Stacey of Huron; and his beloved granddaughter, Maslynn. He is also survived by his brother, Blair (Ellen), and their children, Brian and Laurel. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mark enjoyed watching all Cleveland sports (even when they were disappointing), spending time outdoors listening to his radio, and tending to his yard whenever he could. His greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughter—she truly lit up his life.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, at Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main Street, Huron, Ohio, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with a short service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favorite animal rescue or cancer society. Mark had a deep love for animals, especially his cat, KiKi.
