Louise A. Kessler, 96, of Huron, passed away peacefully on Friday January 21, 2022 after suffering a stroke. She was surrounded by her family.
Louise was born to the late Carl and Amanda Dircks on Valentine’s Day 1925. She loved baking, cooking, canning goods, gardening, and crocheting scarves and afghans. Her favorite place was the kitchen, which everyone appreciated. While she held various jobs and retired from Bob Evans, her most important job was loving and caring for her family and devoting her time to St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Huron.
Louise is survived by her sons, Ronald (Janet), Michael (Eunice), Carl (Karen), Charles (Mary), William, and Dale; daughter, Anita Nye (Daniel); and a large, blended family of many grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Maurice (Mike) Kessler; brother, Leonard Dircks; and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be on Tuesday February 1, 2022 from 9:30 - 11 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Gathering Space in Huron. A private mass and burial for the family will be led by Father Jeffrey McBeth.
