Julie A. Duncan, 51, of Wakeman, Ohio, formerly of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly the morning of Sunday, February 23, 2020, in her Wakeman home. She was born March 6th, 1968, in Sandusky Ohio to the late Mary E. Penrod and Stephen D. Penrod.
Julie married her husband Lawrence D. Duncan on 7/7/07, a date that was very special to both of them.
She is survived by her siblings Tammy Cherry, Thomas Penrod and Delbert Penrod; as well as her children Timothy A. (Monica) Putnam Jr., Amber Putnam, her bonus son Joshua Duncan; And her grandchildren Tallan Putnam and Riley Putnam.
Always a hard-working woman, Julie held many positions throughout her life, including; Erie County Deputy Registrar, HR Director for Magretech Inc., Ford Motor Company Laborer, Continental Flight Attendant, and most recently the Founder and Owner of Duncan and Co. in Norwalk, Ohio.
Julie had numerous hobbies and loved to get out and enjoy life. She had a love for quilting, traveling, RV Camping, sunny days on the lake, and of course, spending time with her family that she cared for deeply.
The joy that her signature smile and laugh always brought to the room will never be forgotten.
Her family and friends will hold a Celebration of Life Gathering to honor Julie’s memory on Friday, March 6th from 11am -5pm at The Wakeman Elevator Craft Beer and Wine Bar, located at 16 Hyde St, Wakeman, OH 44889
