Judith "Judy" Ann Pachasa, 82, passed away on May 16, 2023, in the care of Stein Hospice surrounded by her family and friends.
Judy was born in Milan, Michigan to Ervin Leon and Bernadette Virginia (Montour) Sampsel on February 27, 1941.She was a longtime resident of Huron and parishioner at St. Peter Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dale Vincent Pachasa; three children, Jeffery (Brenda) Pachasa of Waupaca, WI, Lori (Thomas) Strause of Louisville, KY, and Steven (Rebecca) Pachasa of Fowlerville, MI; siblings, Mary (Butch) Below, Jackie Boonie, Charles "Chuck" (Ivy) Sampsel, Dan (Sue) Sampsel, Deb (Mark) Messecar, John Sampsel, Julie (Don) McCoy, and Patty Sampsel; nine grandchildren, Tori, Derrick, Jacob, Neil, Madison, Katrina, Nathan, Tara, and Cole; seven great grandchildren; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Ann (Rosen) Sampsel; brothers, Theodore and David "Mickey" Sampsel; brother in-law, Ron Boonie; as well as a special niece, Ashley Sampsel.
Friends and family may call on Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 6 - 8 PM at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron, OH 44839. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main St., Huron 44839.
