Huron- Josephine Boka (née Forte), 89, of Huron, and formerly of Euclid and Eastlake, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021.
She was born in 1932 in Ellsworth, Pennsylvania to Salvatore and Magdalena (Vacca) Forte.
Josephine was the beloved wife of Louis (deceased); precious mother of Carla Boka, Kim Boka, and Angela (Manuel) Arreche; loving grandmother of nine; and great-grandmother of fourteen, each of whom she treasured. She was a dear sister of four brothers and two sisters; a caring aunt to many nieces and nephews; and a devoted friend to all.
Calling hours will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main St., Huron 44839. A mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main St., Huron. A luncheon will be served at the Gathering Place immediately following the Mass.
Private internment (immediate family) will take place at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio.
