John Terry Whitaker

Sandusky- John Terry Whitaker, 77, passed away at his residence on Saturday evening September 5, 2020, surrounded by his family.

John was born March 30, 1943, in Sandusky, Ohio. He worked for Northpoint Educational, Huron City Schools, and as an iron steel worker.

He is survived by his daughter Becky (Ted) Grunden of Bellevue and a son Mike (Jen Bagley) Whitaker of Fremont, and he is also survived by two grandchildren Jake (Liv Earhart) Smith, Ethan Smith, and one great grandchild Riverlyn Smith.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Sue Whitaker, his parents, Darwin and Lucille (Cornwell) Whitaker, a sister Donna Whitaker, and a brother Darwin “DC” Whitaker.

Friends may call Thursday, September 10th, from 4-7 PM at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St. in Huron. Burial will take place at a later date at Meadow Green Memorial Park.
