John Allen Noftz, age 54, passed away on December 22, 2025.

John was first and foremost a devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his children, Anna (Jeremy) Lehmann of Huron, John (Ciara) Noftz of Sandusky and Logan Lucas of Huron. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Willow, Charlotte, Aubriana, Korrah, Ripley, and Levi, who were the center of his world.

He is also survived by his sisters Michelle (Jason) Hemmer, Janice (Richard) Parker, Beverly (Jerry) McMillin, and Marlene (Oscar) Lewis, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his Aunt Marsha Noftz, Uncle Ed Noftz, Aunt Julie Noftz, Uncle Paul (Nida) Noftz, Uncle Phillip (Juju) Noftz, and his parents, John and Alice Noftz, all of whom held a meaningful place in his life.

John was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Abby Noftz, his mother Mary Lynn Dugger, his grandparents Eugene and Alta Noftz, and Troy and Irene Dugger.

John will be remembered most for the deep love he had for his children and grandchildren, his quirky sense of humor, and his love of nature. He found joy in sharing the outdoors with others, and his memory will live on in quiet moments, shared laughter, and the natural beauty he so deeply cherished.

Rather than a memorial service, the family encourages those who wish to honor his memory to visit the Lake at sunset and reflect in their own way.
