Jody L. (Smart) Ritter

Jody Ritter, 63, of Huron, passed away at home on January 2, 2023.

Jody was born in Cleveland, OH on May 24, 1959 to parents Bill and Joanon (Mahaney) Smart. 

She married Gary Ritter and moved to Huron where she spent many years volunteering at different organizations that support habitat and wildlife conservation. She was a Reiki Master.

Jody is survived by her son, Gary Ritter; daughter, Elizabeth "Liz" Ritter; and her beloved grandchildren, Ryan, Waylon, and Ainsley Puder.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A celebration of life will take place at 2 PM on May 20, 2023 at Jody's home in Huron.
