Jeannie has been special from the very beginning. She was the fifth and final child of her parents, Anna Marie and Joseph C. Rayman, and they gifted her with the ability to view life from her own special perspective. She started that life on her own terms, in her own unique way, not always taking the easiest, or in her mother’s opinion, wisest choice. She kept that perspective while dealing with breast cancer for the past five years. She was filled with the love of adventure, camping, family, cousins, extended family and friends.
She is survived by her partner of 25 years, Norm Campbell, Huron, OH, along with Max, their dog; siblings, Joseph Rayman (Elmo Wendorf), Ixonia, WI; Patricia Rayman, Huron, OH; Nancy Riesterer (Richard), Huron, OH; and Robert Rayman, Huron, OH; her beloved nephews, which involved many of the memorable adventures, Todd (Katie) Riesterer, Sandusky, OH, Kyle Riesterer (Liz Allinder), Benson, AZ; Ryan (Kylie) Riesterer, Toledo, OH; and great niece, Zoey Riesterer and great nephews, Ronan and Paul; many cousins (very special to her), extended family and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Marie and very recently by her father, Joseph C. Rayman.
Jeannie has always had the unique ability to both get lost and find her way home. She has once again, being the first to join our parents. A tribute to her life will be held this summer.
Jeannie and her family and friends wish to express their gratitude for the wonderful care and support of University Hospital Seidman Cancer Center at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Dr. Timothy Adamowicz and team, University Hospital Seidman Cancer Center, Cleveland, Dr. Alberto Montero, all the staff of the Dahms Clinical Research Unit, Stein Hospice of Western Reserve and all the staff that helped Jeannie in her care.
