HURON – James J. St. John, 66, of Huron, died Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky after a lengthy illness.
He was born June 8, 1954 in Sandusky and was a lifelong resident of Huron. He graduated from Huron High School in 1972. He farmed the family farm on Boos Rd, Huron and worked for the Schlessman family at Schlessman Seed Company from the time he was a teenager until 2011.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church Huron. His favorite past-time was sports and watching old time TV shows. He enjoyed eating out at local restaurants.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristen St. John of Huron; granddaughter, JayLee St. John; sisters, Beverly (John) Dick of Castalia and Shari (Mark) Miller of Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews.
Private family service and burial will be held at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron with Father Jeffrey McBeth officiating.
