HURON – James P. Berger, 56, of Huron, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky.
He was born May 17, 1963 in Bellevue, OH and has resided in Huron since 2000 coming from Monroeville.
He was a member of Mt. Harvest Church of God, Milan. He had a love for fishing. He was a compassionate loving man and was always there for friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Ann (Burnette) Berger, married to for 25 years; his sons, Branden and Logan Berger of Huron; sisters, Jeannie (Rick) Hartley of Bellevue and Mary Lou Berger of Norwalk; a brother, Thomas (Sharon) Berger of Norwalk; his father in law, Sonny Burnette of Huron; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Snowden and Rose (Pietraface) Berger.
Friends may call Wednesday, January 22nd at Mt. Harvest Church of God, 150 SR 13, Milan, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. with pastors Carl and Joe Woodyard officiating.
Cremation will take place after the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the family.
