Helen (Ineson) Meyers

HURON – Helen Meyers, 87, of Huron, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Concord Care Center, Sandusky.

   She was born April 30, 1932 in Boston, MA, and has been a resident of Huron for the past 60 years.

   Helen worked at Wakefield Lighting Company in Vermilion during her younger years.

   She enjoyed working with ceramics, reading books, and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband, Alan Meyers of Huron, married to for 58 years; her daughter, Tami Lyn Meyers of Huron; son, Daniel Meyers of Amherst; two grandchildren, Dana and Ryan Meyers; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister in law, Julia Ineson of Huron; and several nieces and nephews.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Viola (Curtis) Ineson; and 2 sisters, Shirley Swanson and Lucille Ineson.

   Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 7th at 11 a.m. at the Meadow Green Memorial Chapel, Bogart Rd., Huron, with Chaplain Mel Sayler, officiating.
