Gregory Alan Koehler, 71, of Huron, Ohio, passed away on January 16, 2025.
Greg was a 1971 graduate of Sandusky High School and a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for 33 years at CertainTeed in Milan, Ohio. Greg was an avid Cleveland sports fan who loved gardening, nature, and basketball. He was also a passionate supporter of President Trump. Above all, Greg cherished spending time with his grandchildren.
Known for his kind and outgoing nature, Greg made friends easily and had a deep love for life. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who dedicated himself to his family.
Greg is survived by his daughters, Amy, Natalie, and Stephanie (Brian) Bonner; his grandchildren, Kayla, Maggie, Zoe, Breanna, and Sarah; his great-grandchildren, Quinn, Kennedy, Camryn, and Collin; his siblings, John, Chris, and Lisa; as well as nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Janet Koehler, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth, and his parents, John Sr. and Ellen McChesney.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron, Ohio, 44839, from 2:00 to 4:45 PM, with a brief prayer service at 4:45 PM.
