Gladys "Gigi" Faye (Reynolds) Majoy

HURON – Gladys “Gigi” Majoy, 81, of Huron, passed into the Hands of the Lord, Thursday, Feb 14, 2019 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky.

   She was born March 14, 1937 in Hanceville, Alabama.

   She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Huron.

   She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Majoy, married to for 49 years; daughters, Deborah (Carl) Bates Berger of West Lake, OH, Robin (Donald) Bates Haines of Highland Hts, OH, Nina Bates Dechant of Lakewood, OH; sons, Rodney Bates of Huron, Mickey (Kathryne) Bates of Columbia Station, OH, Kenny Paul Majoy Jr. of Huron; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Jean Trussell of Alabama; and a brother, Alton Ferrell Reynolds of Alabama.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, General Dewey and Jessie Velma (Vassar) Reynolds; and brothers, Billy Eugene, Charles Jr, Troy James, Vergil Jerry, and Chester Reynolds.

   Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main Street, Huron on Tuesday, Feb. 19th at 10:30 a.m. with Father Jeffrey McBeth officiating.

   Burial will be at Scott Cemetery, Huron.
