Frances Mary Wargo

Frances Wargo, 93, of Huron, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2022 at Admiral’s Pointe.

She was born on September 5, 1929 in Detroit, MI to the late Anthony and Mary (Esposito) Tata. She and her family moved to Huron in 1932 and she was a 1947 Huron High School Graduate.

Fran was a homemaker most of her life, but also worked a short time for Huron City Schools. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Huron, and Immaculate Conception Church of Port Clinton where she and her husband resided for 31 years before returning to Huron. She loved her family and friends immensely.

She is survived by her sons, Louis P. Wargo III of Port Clinton and Anthony R. (Lynda) Wargo of Huron; grandchildren, Paula (Ben) Conner and Louis  (Denise) Wargo IV; great granddaughter, Norah Wargo; and sister, Rita Garber of Columbus.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis P. Wargo Jr.; daughter, Sandra Wargo; brothers, Robert Tata and Anthony Tata;  and sister, Victoria Bencivengo.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 410 Main St., Huron 44839.

A private family burial will take place at a later date at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Milan.
