Ernest M. Wilson

Ernest M. Wilson, 82, of Vermilion, peacefully passed away on October 30, 2023, at his residence.

Ernest was born on June 24, 1941, in Upper Darby, PA to the late Warren and Helen Wilson. He leaves behind a rich legacy as a second-generation business owner, passionately carrying forward the family enterprise with the W.M. Wilson Company, originally established in 1945. He loved boating, fishing, and celebrating often.

Ernest is survived by his loving children, Karen (Dan) Fogel and Jeff (Maria) Wilson; his cherished grandchildren, Tiffanie and Bradley Fogel, and Scott and Nicole Wilson; his brother, Charlie Wilson; the love of his life, Sandra Robinson, with whom he spent 17 joy-filled years; his former wife, Gail (Morrison) Wilson; and his loyal companion, Sophie the dog.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Hugh Wilson.

Friends and family may pay their respects from 12 - 2 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron, OH 44839.
