Ellen L Wargo

Huron – Ellen L. Wargo, 98, passed away on May 5, 2022 at The Meadows at Osborn Park.

Ellen was born on March 4, 1932 in Mansfield, OH to parents Glen and Eunice (Hazelton) Cleland. She was a homemaker all of her life and loved her family deeply. She especially enjoyed taking care of her grandkids. Any time there was a Cleveland Indians game on, you could count on the fact that Ellen was watching. Not only was she an avid Indians fan, but she was also a fan of all Cleveland sports.

Ellen is survived by her sons, Greg (Tamara Payne) Wargo and Paul (Gina) Wargo; grandchildren, Steve (Christie) Wargo, Leslie Wargo, and Cassie Wargo; step grandchildren, Brian (Linda) Squires and Sean Squires; great grandchildren, Brendan Wargo and Trevor Wargo; and step great grandchildren, Ryan, Wyatt, Colton, and Emma Squires and Tanya and Eric Bellamy.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul P. Wargo; daughter in law, Elizabeth Hammond Wargo; as well as numerous sister and brother in laws.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron, OH 44839. Burial will follow at McMillen Cemetery, 816 River Rd., Huron 44839.
