Elisha J Cannon

Elisha James Cannon, 34, transitioned from this life on Saturday, July 10, 2021.

Elisha, known to many as “Peoples or Flocka,” was born May 2, 1987, in Phoenix, Arizona to Sharon Cannon and Melekemu Mengesha.

He was a loving, selfless, loyal, and strong young man, with a smile that could brighten any room. Elisha was an experienced brick mason who enjoyed spending time with his friends and brothers.

He is survived by his two daughters, A’niayah Lynn Jones and Kendall “Tink” Moore; his parents, Larry and Sharon (Cannon) Walker; grandparents, Samuel and Berta Cannon; sister, Bethany Bowman (Brother In Law - Eric Bowman); his brothers, Corinth Cannon (Sister In Law-Shaterrinesha), Caleb Bolton (Sister In Law - Kristina), and Joshua Bolton ( Sister In Law - Tamekia); Alonzo Bonner, Bobby Conrad, Charlie Gibbs, Donte Duston, Jon-teal Cherry, Joseph Walsh, Siquoy Phillips, Brandon Abbott, and Willie Wilson; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a whole host of others that loved him as their family.

Elisha is preceded in death by his biological father, Melekemu Mengesha; great-grandmother, Mamie Kersh; great-grandfather, James Kersh; and brother Thomas Walsh.

Funeral services will be from 11 am- 1 pm on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce Street, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
