Elaine Holtz

Elaine Holtz, 92, of Huron, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

Born on November 1, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio, Elaine was the cherished daughter of Nicholas and Jenny (Lemmo) Mideo.

She was the beloved mother of Laura "Alex," for whom Elaine was the love of her life, and the beloved grandmother of Jennifer P. and Robert G. Holtz. Elaine's heart was also filled with love for her dear cat, Rex, and the extended family she held so close. She was deeply blessed by Matt and Sarah Burmeister and their children, Thomas, Allie, Lilith, and Gavin, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Elaine’s kindness and love touched all who knew her, and she was adored by many.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald B. Holtz in 2019, and son, Robert B. Holtz. 

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Mike and Debbie Ashley and their family for their special care and support.

A private service and Mass will be held at a later date.
