Donald Hartley

Huron - Donald G. Hartley, 82, of Huron, died Monday morning September 13, 2021 after a long battle with lung cancer. 

He was born in Castalia, OH and was a 1957 graduate of Margaretta High School. He was a self-employed building contractor for fifty years.

He is survived by his wife, the former Jerry Rogers, to whom he was married for 54 years; son, Doni Hartley (Carrie); daughters, Shelley Rodriguez (Artie), Dawn Capuano (Tony), Kimberly Wonacott, and Jodi Hartley Kane (Todd); ten grandsons (yes all boys); siblings Darlene Hartley and Robert Hartley and sister-in-law Sandy Hartley (Thomas) of Sandusky; and special morning coffee companions at the Huron Donut Shop. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Virginia Hartley of Castalia; and brothers Eldon, Thomas, and Ronald Hartley.

Friends may call Friday September 17, 2021 from 9-10:30 am at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron 44839. A mass will be held at St.Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main St., Huron, at 11am followed by a burial of ashes.
