Deborah M (Gilhuly) Siewert

HURON - Deborah M. (Gilhuly) Siewert, 64, of Huron, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020, after a long illness.  Deb was born in Chicago, Illinois, March 25, 1956.  She graduated from Huron High School in 1974.  She went on to graduate as a veterinarian assistant at Columbus Tech, and a Bachelor’s degree in social work, at Montana University.

   Deb loved animals, especially her horse Jaime and her dog Mandy.

   She is preceded in death by her parents Patrick and Doris Gilhuly and infant brother Brian.  She is survived by her sister, Mary (Dan) Wright, of Huron; brothers, Mike (Sheni) Gilhuly, Barry Gilhuly, and Gary (Sherle) Gilhuly; nieces, Meridyth and Kelly; and nephews, Andrew, Noah, and Zane.

   The family would like to thank Admiral’s Pointe Nursing and Rehab of Huron, for taking care of Deb for 5 years.

   There will not be any services at this time except for the immediate family.

   Deb would have liked any memorial contributions to be made to Erie County Dog Pound, 2900 Columbus Ave. Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
