Daniel H Garlock Jr

Daniel H. Garlock II, 94, of Huron, OH, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025. He was born in Sandusky, OH, on September 29, 1930, to Daniel Hastings and Mary Catherine (Cooley) Garlock.

Daniel married Mary (Oney) Garlock on October 27, 1951, and they were married for over 69 years. She preceded him in death on June 17, 2021.

He was employed at Westvaco and was a member of the former Calvary Temple Church.

Daniel is survived by his children: Daniel (Wylene) Garlock of Berlin Heights, Bruce Garlock, and Elaine (Kevin) Slisher of Huron; grandchildren: Brent (Cherise) Slisher, Amber (James) Stephens, and Dixie Garlock; and siblings: Irvin Garlock and Ruth Rumford.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by siblings: Anna McNutt, Hazel Dunmire, Dorothy Trusty, Sharon Garlock, and Joseph Garlock.

Private services will be held at a later date.
