Carolyn B. McGraw, 91, of Huron, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025.
Born in Shelby, Ohio, to the late Robert and Dorothy Fagan, Carolyn devoted her life to her family, her community, and the things she cherished most.
She proudly served Huron High School for 26 years, running the school kitchen with dedication and warmth. Known for her tireless work and friendly smile, she left a lasting impact on countless students and staff. Carolyn’s commitment to her community extended far beyond the school—she was actively involved with the Huron Boosters, often seen managing the concession stand at school events, and played a key role in supporting the Huron Water Fest, one of the area’s most beloved celebrations.
A devoted Methodist, Carolyn also had a deep love for sports. She was a lifelong fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes football team and a passionate supporter of the Cleveland Indians. At home, she found joy in tending to her yard and spending time outdoors.
Carolyn’s kindness, strong work ethic, and generous spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Sharon (James) Wilson and Brian (Katy) McGraw, and daughter-in-law Kathie (Bickley) McGraw; her 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John McGraw Sr.; her son, John McGraw Jr.; her granddaughter, Amy Oney; and her three siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron, Ohio, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m.
