Carol Ann Bernier

HURON - Carol Ann (Champagne) Bernier, 79, passed peacefully, Saturday, March 6, 2021, with her husband by her side, after a long illness.

   Carol was born, September 16, 1941 in Franklin, NH and was a long-time resident of Southington, CT and most recently lived in Huron, OH.

    Carol was kind, caring and selfless and never to busy to help others. She enjoyed sewing club, cooking, and baking. You never went hungry when you came to visit.

   She is survived by her husband, of 59 years, Thomas “Harry” Bernier, her children, Michael Bernier and his partner Steven Powell, son, Wayne Bernier and his wife Amanda, son Neil Bernier and his wife Eileen, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, 3 brothers, a sister, nieces, nephews, and extended family, John Winters.

   She is preceded in death by her daughter, Alison, and her husband, Gary Pinckney.

   Friends may call Wednesday, March 10th from 5-7 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main Street, Huron, OH, on Thursday, March 11th at 10:00 am.
