Carl D Walski

Carl Walski, 90, of Huron, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Born on February 8, 1935, in Lorain, Ohio, Carl graduated from Admiral King High School in 1953. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1962.

In 1963, Carl and his family moved to Huron, Ohio, while working at Eastern States Grain Dock. He later joined Sandusky Ford Motor Company, where he dedicated 25 years as a Production Supervisor before retiring in August 1990.

Following his retirement, Carl spent much of his time at Walski’s Marina in Huron. He became a local expert on fishing spots and weather conditions, always ready to share a good story with his customers and friends.

Carl was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, MaryAnn (Kozlina) Walski, whom he married in 1957. Together, they shared 68 wonderful years.

He was a loving father to Brian Walski (Jill), Michael Walski (Sue), Mark Walski (Kirsten), Douglas Walski (Amanda), and Paul Fantozzi (Anita).

Carl was also a proud grandfather to Scott, Maxwell, and Troy (all deceased), and to his surviving grandchildren: Matthew (Caitlin), Heather (Billy), Marcus (Nykkytta), Abigail (Jerome), and Crystal.

His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Audrianna, Ayden, Jeremiah, Noah, Miah, Jeremiah, Gabriel, Dallas, Shaelyan, Kyleigh, Elijah, MacKenzie, Makenna, Jax, Annalise, Ensley, Myles, and Myah.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th, at 5:00 PM at the Berlin Road home. Family and friends are invited to stop by and share memories and stories in Carl’s honor.
