Bruce Pisano

CASTALIA – Bruce A. Pisano, 71, formerly of Huron, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky after a lengthy illness.

   He was born August 26, 1950 and was a graduate of Huron High School.  He worked for Norfolk and Western Railroad for several years before starting his career as a car salesman which he did for 25 plus years starting at Mathews Ford in Sandusky and other local dealerships before officially retiring in 2005.

   He was a US Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam War.  He was a longtime member of the Sandusky IAB Club, the American Legion, Post 83, and the Sandusky Orioles Club.  He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and Cleveland sports fan.  He loved spending time with his children, grandsons, and other family members.  When life would allow, he also enjoyed playing softball and loved golfing, for years, with his family and close circle of friends.

   He is survived by his daughter, Monica Seitz of Norwalk; his two sons, Sean (Chelsea) Pisano of Columbus, and Cory Pisano of Columbus; his grandchildren, Jacob and Justin Seitz; his sister, Debbie (Chris) Clemons of Marblehead; brothers, Daniel Pisano of Huron, Gary (Chris) Pisano of Westerville, Sam Jr. (Christine) Pisano of Huron, Dick (Cheryl) Pisano of Huron, and Chuck (Rosemary) Pisano of Phoenix, AZ; his extended family from Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

   He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam Sr. and Darlene (Rogers) Pisano.

   Cremation will take place and there will be a private family visitation and burial.  A celebration of life for all friends and family will be held Friday, October 8th, starting at 4 pm till 9 pm at the American legion post 83, 3615 Hayes Ave. Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
