Bertha V. Meyer

Bertha Virginia (Midgett) Meyer, 85, residing in Huron, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at The Meadows At Osborn Park.

Bertha was born on January 10, 1940, in Rodanthe, NC to the late William and Viola (Pratt) Midgett. She loved her family and taking care of them, as well as shopping, fishing, and competing in women's fishing tournaments.

Bertha is survived by her daughters, Christine (Gary) Orshoski of Bayview, OH, and Debbie Wadsworth of NC; son, Troy (Judy) Meyer of Norwalk, OH; six grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, Nick, Brittany, TJ, and Riley; two great-grandchildren, Kenna and Hayden; niece, Elise Hofer; and nephew, David Hofer.

In addition to her parents, Bertha is preceded in death by her husband, Omar E. "Bud" Meyer, and sister-in-law, Sally Hofer.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
