Bernice Viock

Bernice Viock, 81, of Huron, passed away on June 18, 2024 at Admiral’s Pointe. 

She was born on February 28, 1943 in Knott, Kentucky to the late Silas and Nanie (Gibson) Sloan. She loved flowers, gardening, her cats, and spending time with her family and friends. Bernice was known for her joking spirit, always bringing laughter and joy to those around her. 

Bernice is survived by her daughters, Donna (Jason) Ott of Norwalk, Jena Viock of Huron, and Gloria (Jason) Watson of Hudson; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Yuonne Burton and Rosie Dingus; as well as her brother, Graton Sloan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Viock; son, Michael Viock; and siblings, Lela Caudill, Daley Slone, Lola Caudill, Ora Thornsbury, Cash Slone, Breman Slone, Sada Alfita, Irton Slone, Jeff Slone, Ocie Caudill, and Farris Slone. 

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 10 AM - 12 PM at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron 44839. Burial will follow visitation at Scott Cemetery, Huron Avery Rd., Huron.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erie County Humane Society, 1911 Superior St., Sandusky 44870.
