HURON – Bernadine Skinner Dunlap, 97, of Huron, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH.
She was born April 1, 1923 in Glouster, Oh. She moved to Dayton in 1941 to work with the Federal Government at Wright-Paterson Air Force Base. “Bernie” moved to Grove City, OH in 1946 to work at Lockbourne Air Force Base additionally she worked for the State of Ohio Government for 10 years. After retirement, she arrived in Huron, Ohio in 2000.
Bernie attended and had been a member of the Methodist Church Community throughout her moves. She was a woman of strong faith and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by two daughters, Patrice Dunlap (Earl) Lisk of Huron, and Lynn Dunlap (John) Martin of Virginia Beach, VA and previously of Cincinnati; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by 1 sister and 2 brothers.
A private graveside service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster, OH with Pastor John Martin officiating.
