Anna M Rayman

Anna Marie (Jara) Rayman, 90, passed away after a brief illness.

She was born February 28, 1932 and lived a full life until March 25, 2022. Anna was born in Lorain, OH to Bertha (Wojewodka) and Peter Jara as the oldest of 4 daughters.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She has been married to her beloved husband, Joseph C. Rayman, for the past 65 years and has 5 children: Joseph Rayman (Elmo Wendorf) of Ixonia, WI, Patricia A. Rayman of Huron, Nancy J. (Rich) Riesterer of Huron, Robert J. Rayman of Huron, and Jean M. Rayman (Norm Campbell) Huron. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Todd P. (Katie) Riesterer of Sandusky, OH, Kyle J. Riesterer of Benson, AZ, and Ryan S. (Kylie Mann) Riesterer of Toledo, OH; long awaited great grandchildren, twins Ronan S. And Zoey A. Riesterer whom she did get to hold and cherish; and sister, Patricia Jara of Boca Roton, FL.

She is preceded in the passing by her sisters, Florence Mutnansky and Gertrude Jurczyk.

She has had a very full and wonderful life filled with adventures. She and her husband loved traveling, first with their children, followed by the grandchildren to all parts of the country and beyond. They loved their winters in Florida near Cape Canaveral watching the rockets launch and out of the cold. She loved dancing and pot lucks, baking and being an avid reader, friends and the Lorain Journal (pity the poor delivery person who was late with her paper), and most of all her family, who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron, OH 44839 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main Street, Huron.
