Anna Mae Klonk

Beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother, Anna Mae Klonk 93, of Huron passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of Sunday, May 25th.

She had a beautiful singing voice and kept the house filled with music. Her guessing games and trivia delighted family every holiday. Her favorite was St. Patrick's Day where she entertained all with her Irish tradition of making colcannon, cabbage and corned beef dinners.

She loved oil painting, flower gardening and playing cards with her women's card club. She was an active member of St. Peter Church, Huron, a member of the Altar Society, and a charter member of the Lake Erie Irish Cultural Society. 

She is survived by her children, Deborah Klonk, Christopher (Amy) Klonk, Mary (Lynn) Willgrube, Thomas (Darlene) Klonk, Colleen (Craig) Casselberry, Peter (Paula) Klonk, Anita (Paul) Fantozzi; daughter-in-law, Jackie Klonk; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Anne C. Kelly; sister Eileen Kearns; husband Theodore E. Klonk; son, Daniel Klonk and granddaughter Tiffany Fantozzi.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. on Friday, May 30th until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron. A funeral Mass will follow at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main St., Huron.  A private family committal service will be held at Scott Cemetery, Huron.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Peter Church, Huron, or to Southern Care  Hospice Services.
