Andrea Dalessandro, 86, of Huron, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
She was born on July 4, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, to John and Lena Zamborsky. Andrea graduated from Marymount High School and went on to attend Fenn College (now Cleveland State University). She later earned her Master’s degree in Guidance from the University of Michigan.
Andrea dedicated her life to education, teaching for 20 years at Sandusky St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School and Norwalk St. Paul High School, before serving as a guidance counselor at St. Mary’s, where she retired.
She is survived by her loving husband, Eugene Dalessandro; her sons, Thomas (Jennifer) and Carl Dalessandro (Anita); her cherished grandchildren, Dominic, Luken, Bon, and Elizabeth; and many dear friends and former students whose lives she touched.
Andrea was a devoted and longtime member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Huron, where she found great strength in her faith and community.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 6, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Huron, Ohio. A private burial will follow.
Donations may be made to St. Peter Catholic School in Huron in Andrea’s memory.
