Alverna Rose Tracht

Alverna R. Tracht, 83, of Huron, passed away on December 4, 2022, after a brief illness.

Alverna was born on January 5, 1939, in Monroeville, OH to the late Alma and Earl Michaels.

She loved walking around Huron and taking in the beauty for four to six miles at a time. She frequently explored Sheldon’s Marsh and Old Woman Creek as she was fascinated with following nature and enjoyed watching the Bald Eagles. She also enjoyed traveling with her family both domestically and overseas.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William E. Tracht; sons, William Tracht, Lee Michaels, Todd Tracht, and Terry Tracht; as well as ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clifford Ash, John Ash, Richard Michaels and Rocky Michaels; sisters, Bertha (Ash) Fantozzi and Earleen (Michaels) Halstead; as well as grandson, Michael Tracht.

Services will be announced at a later date.
