Alice Kishman

HURON- Alice J. Kishman (Lee), 99, of Huron, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Parkvue Care Center, Sandusky.

   She was born September 11, 1920 in Huron and graduated from Vermilion High School.

   She worked for the Vermilion Public Schools in the cafeteria for 10 years.

   She attended the First Faith Community Church, Sandusky and was a member of the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church.  She was a Brownie Leader in her younger years.  She enjoyed word searches, reading, gardening, cooking, spending time with her family and enjoyed shooting farm critters.  Was also known as the “Good Will Lady” at Elder-Beerman.

   She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (David) Blair of Monroeville; daughter in law, Karen Kishman of Huron; grandchildren, Allison Kishman and Kristin (Mark) Clayman of Huron; and great-grandchildren, Kasey and Austin Clayman.

   She is preceded in death by her husband, Werner Kishman Jr.; children, Jeanie and Phillip Kishman; a sister in law, Vivian Lee; and brother Warren Lee.

   Friends may call Tuesday (today) Nov 26th from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov 27th from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St, Huron, with Pastor John Apple, officiating.

   Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.

   Memorial contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
