Alan Meyers Obituary
HURON – Alan J. Meyers, 81, of Huron, passed away at his residence Saturday, April 18, 2020.
He was born April 25, 1938 in Sandusky and was a lifelong resident of the Huron area.
He graduated from Huron High School and worked as a carpenter in the Local Union for 55 years.
He belonged to the Milan Friends Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and the outdoors.
He is survived by his daughter, Tami Lyn Meyers of Huron; a son, Daniel Meyers of Amherst; 2 grandchildren, Dana and Ryan Meyers; 5 great grandchildren; and 3 brothers, Lynn (Lois) Meyers of Sandusky, Gene (Helen) Meyers of Orrville, OH, and Dale (Bess) Meyers of Sandusky.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen in January of 2020 and his parents, Walter and Leota (Bilger) Meyers.
A private graveside service and burial will be held at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
